TRC 22nd Annual Meeting

What is the Annual Meeting Showcase?

The TRC Annual Meeting Showcase is best described as what would happen if you held a science fair on a carnival midway.

Each year at the TRC Annual Meeting, the Collaboratives of the TRC create booths to show off their activities of the past year. These booths are usually based around the theme of the Annual Meeting and may include informative displays, hands-on activities, integration of new technologies, or even teachers in full costume. The goal of each Collaborative is to show visitors just how innovative and creative our teachers are when it comes to teaching math and science, as well as just how fun and engaging STEM education can be for students of any age. Of course, there is another motive that drives our showcase participants. Visitors are encouraged to vote for the most creative and educational displays in three categories: Mathematics, Science, and Combined Science and Math. Awards are presented to the winning groups at lunch the next day.
