The 32nd Annual Galveston County Science and Engineering Fair was held at Texas A&M University Galveston Campus on February 8, 2014. There were fourteen different campuses attending with more than 200 students involved from the 7th-Grade Junior Division, 9th Grade Division, and 10th-12th Grade Senior Division. Exhibit categories included social sciences, botany, chemistry, physics, environmental and earth science, engineering and computer science.

The Shell-TRC Partnership was proud to participate in this event. Judging was completed on Saturday morning and plaques and monetary awards were presented to each of the winners later that day. Dr. Marguerite Sognier, Galveston County TRC Science Project Director with UTMB made the presentations of the Shell-Texas Regional Collaboratives Outstanding Achievement Awards.
