The University of Texas J.J. Pickle Research Campus, located in the new Research Office Complex (ROC), Building 196. The ROC building houses the Institute for Geophysics, the Bureau of Economic Geology and the Texas Advanced Computation Center. It is located in the northeast quadrant of the Pickle Research Campus.

| Eligible Attendees: |
Minority or minority-serving teachers who would like to teach the new Earth Space Science capstone course as well as Texas Regional Collaborative Project Directors, Instructional Team Members and ESC or District Science Specialists. |
| Description: |
The Texas Earth and Space Science (TXESS) Revolution is a rigorous, high quality, 5 year geoscience professional development program funded by NSF and the TRC for 8th -12th grade minority-serving science teachers, TRC Project Directors, ESC and district Science Specialists. Participants will make a two year commitment to attend four PDAs (one each semester). Each PDA is three days (24 hours SBEC Credit). PDAs will be presented on Thursdays- Saturdays.

| Parking: |
You will need to receive a parking permit at the guard’s station. He/she will direct you to the appropriate parking area. |
Registration: |

You will be asked for your name, email, organization, content hours, etc. Since you have multiple people attending, each person must complete the application process. Regional collaboratives will be responsible for participants’ travel and hotel arrangements and costs.
