TRC Forms & Materials

TEKS-based Needs Assessments (ZIP - 94KB)
Each document in the zip file is available for individual download below.

2007-08 Participant Data Form with Form Fields
This document allows participants to complete the form electronically using form fields. Several other clarifications have also been made to improve the usability of the document. You may use either this document or the original 07-08 form below.
2007-08 Updated Participant Data Form
This is an updated, user-friendly form that replaces all previous participant data forms as of August 2007. It is modeled after the TRC's Online Data Center and allows for more streamlined data entry. We have also added several user requested aspects such as expanded job description and Title I choices.

Science Budget Amendment Form
Project Directors should use this form if budgeted amounts within line items require adjustment at anytime throughout the grant cycle. Route all completed forms to Ginger Gibson for approval.
Science Budget Tracking Spreadsheet
Project Directors should use this form throughout the grant cycle to be sure money is spent appropriately from each budget line item and cross-check with your business office regularly for complete accuracy.
Science Invoice Template
Business offices can use this form to create invoices if your institution does not already have an invoicing template in place. Tab through the form entering fields as you go, and then print it on a piece of your institution's letterhead. Invoices with proper accompanying documentation are required for all report submissions.
Science Sample Invoice
This is a quick reference to show what elements make up a proper invoice. Project Directors should give a copy of this sample to business office contacts to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in invoicing procedures.
Sample Tracking Contact Hrs
This sample spreadsheet will assist you in tracking TRC contact hours.

TRC Event Planning

Honoring the Teachers Events

Purpose of the Event

“Honoring the Teachers” events are strategically planned to achieve the following objectives:

  • Rrecognize and honor participating teachers;
  • Inform and Engage policy makers, legislators, and state leaders in the program.  (This objective is a very critical and central objective! The “Honoring the Teachers” event at the Regional level and the TRC Annual Meeting at the State level, provide two unique opportunities to inform state legislators and policy makers about the significant role of the Collaboratives in improving the teaching and learning of science and mathematics in classrooms across Texas.);
  • Thank and REWARD corporate partners;
  • Celebrate the regional collaborative partnership in the community;
  • Acknowledge and ENCOURAGE support of administrators to teachers, and
  • Publicize the program through media outlets in the region.

Planning Your Event
