Mission

The Region 14 Collaborative is committed to providing science teachers with the highest level of excellence in sustained professional development to enhance their leadership capacity and enable them to engage ALL students in interesting, relevant, experiential, and meaningful science learning experiences.

Accomplishments

The Region 14 Collaborative for Excellence in Science Teaching has provided provided K-12 science teachers with relevant, sustained, and rigorous professional development since 1995. To date, we have served over three hundred Science Teacher Mentors and fifteen hundred of their peers in forty-two districts from across the thirteen county region. More than six thousand students have been impacted as we focus on continuous improvement in student success. Our students have demonstrated consistently high rates of success.

Participating Districts and Schools

All forty-two independent school districts, sixteen private schools, and charter schools are able to participate in the Region 14 Collaborative.
