To provide quality professional development in science to schools especially in rural areas of participating counties.
The North Central Texas College Collaborative has provided quality training for over 350 teachers in our service area. Collaboration between schools and North Central Texas College have been set in motion for a seamless transition from high school to college as well as offering support to science teachers in younger grades. Numerous teachers have been recognized for their achievements in science teaching and increased TAKS scores. Participating teachers have presented at CAST and the Regional Annual Meeting.
