Mission

To create a science learning community for the greater Brazos Valley/Region VI ESC area teachers, schools, and districts through sustained teacher professional development and leadership training in content, pedagogy, and mentoring. We also provide resources and support for collaborative members in order to facilitate increases in student achievement.

Accomplishments

We currently have the following training areas and numbers of teachers and districts represented in our Science Teacher Mentor trainings:

  • Physics for All - 10 high school teachers representing 7 districts and 7 campuses
  • K-8 Geoscience -15 teachers representing 11 districts and 14 campuses
