Greetings and Remarks
from Dr. Kamil A. Jbeily On June 18,
2001, the Toyota USA Foundation, headquartered in Torrance, California
announced funding five programs, one of which was the Texas Regional
Collaboratives. The collaboratives received a three-year grant of $390,000.
The Texas Regional Collaboratives program is housed at the Science Education
Center of UT-Austin's College of Education.
On behalf of the Texas Regional Collaboratives Advisory Board, Planning Commitees, Project Directors, Instructional Teams, professors, administrators, teachers, and students who benefit from this grant, I want to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Toyota USA Foundation for this generous contribution to promoting the mission and goals of the Regional Collaboratives. We look forward to many years of collaboration and partnership with Toyota in the service of excellence and equity in our schools. |
